At Pure Intentions, we've been preparing for this season for a while now — not just with what we're pouring, but with something we believe matters even more: the chance to gather. If you haven't heard yet, Passport to Summer is here, and I want to tell you everything about it.

01  /  Why We Gather The Reason Glow & Gather Exists in the First Place

When I started Pure Intentions, it began quietly — at a kitchen table, with curiosity in my hands and a longing to create something meaningful. What I didn't fully expect was what would happen when I invited other people into that space.

Something shifts when women gather around candlelight. The conversation goes somewhere real, almost without trying. There's something about the act of making something with your hands — pouring warm wax, choosing a scent that means something to you — that opens people up. It strips away the performance of everyday life and leaves something much more honest underneath.

That's why Glow & Gather exists. Not just as an event series, but as a reminder. In a world that rewards constant doing, there is something quietly radical about choosing to slow down, show up, and be in a room with other women who are doing the same thing.

I've watched it happen again and again — strangers who sit down next to each other and leave as something closer to friends. Women who came alone and stayed until the last candle was poured. That's not something I could have planned. It just happens when the space is right.

02  /  This Summer's Series Passport to Summer: A 3-Part Glow & Gather Event Series

This summer, we're doing something a little different. Instead of a single event, we built a series — three Glow & Gather gatherings, each with its own summer vibe, all connected by the same thread: slow down, pour something beautiful, and let yourself actually enjoy the season.

We're calling it Passport to Summer. Each event is its own destination — a small escape from the ordinary, designed around intimate candle-pouring experiences, small bites, great conversation, and the particular kind of magic that only happens when a group of women decides to be present together for a few hours.

You'll leave with a custom candle you poured yourself. But honestly? That's almost the smallest part of what you take home.

Seats are limited — intentionally. These gatherings are meant to be intimate, not crowded. If the June 11th event speaks to you, don't wait on it.

The second and third stops of the Passport to Summer series will be announced soon. Spark Society members will hear about them first — dates, locations, and early access to reserve — before anything goes public.

03  /  What We're Burning This Summer The Candles Worth Lighting Right Now

Summer is one of my favorite times to burn a candle, and not for the reason you might think. It's not about the scent matching the season — it's about what a candle does to an ordinary summer evening. It makes it matter. It turns a back porch and an open window into somewhere intentional.

We don't have a new collection dropping this summer — what we have is better: the candles our community keeps coming back to. The ones that have become part of people's rituals. The fan favorites that have been in your homes, your bathrooms, your kitchen tables. This summer, we're celebrating those.

Amber Dusk is the candle I reach for when the day finally exhales. There's something about Amber and Vetiver that feels made for warm evenings — unhurried, grounded, the kind of scent that makes a moment feel like it's worth staying in.

04  /  Last Call Before Summer Fully Arrives: The Spring Collection Is Almost Gone

This is the bittersweet part of seasonal, small-batch work: some things are only meant to last a season. And honestly, I think that's part of what makes them worth paying attention to while they're still here.

The spring collection is winding down. Daybreak and Fresh Fields are nearly sold through, and we won't be restocking them mid-cycle — that's never been how we work, and it's not going to change. Each collection has a natural beginning and end, and that's part of what gives them meaning.

If there's a spring scent you've been meaning to grab for yourself, or you want to gift something before it disappears — this is me giving you the real heads up. No pressure, just honesty.
